Baseball Game Preview: Ore City Rebels vs. Elysian Fields Yellowjackets

For the first time this season, Ore City will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets at 3:00 p.m. Ore City will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Ore City barely beat Como-Pickton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Ore City blew past Como-Pickton 17-2 on Friday. Considering the Rebels have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Elysian Fields lost 12-1 to North DeSoto on Monday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evan White made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Elysian Fields' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ore City, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
