Softball Recap: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Paloma Valley Wildcats

Temecula Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paloma Valley Wildcats. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Charlee Carrillo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits.

At the plate, Temecula Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery DePauw, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Kaitlyn Crouse also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

San Jacinto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.5 runs per game this season.
