Westwood lost against Plumas Charter back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Westwood Lumberjacks took a 52-35 bruising from the Plumas Charter Warriors. The Lumberjacks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Plumas Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dalton Bentz, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Bentz is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Owen Joseph, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 22 points.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Plumas Charter, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Westwood will face off against Paradise Adventist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plumas Charter, they will take on Herlong at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
