Video: Highlights of DePaul Catholic's Kareem Walker.Kareem Walker, a four-star recruit out of
DePaul Catholic (Wayne, N.J.), decommitted from Ohio State on Tuesday night.
Walker, the nation's No. 1 running back, made the announcement via Twitter, ending months of speculation that he would not end up signing with Ohio State, to whom he had given a verbal pledge in January.
With his decommitment now official, Walker seems poised to sign with Michigan. Not only did he take an official visit to Ann Arbor last month, but the
247Sports Crystal Ball overwhelmingly favors Michigan.
Michigan has done an outstanding job recruiting the state of New Jersey, thanks in large part to the addition of Chris Partridge to the team's staff. The former
Paramus Catholic (Paramus, N.J.) head coach has Michigan in good position with both Walker and No. 1 recruit
Rashan Gary, as well as several other Garden State recruits.
Michigan already ranks as the No. 9 recruiting class in the country
according to 247Sports.

Kareem Walker is no longer committed to Ohio State.
