Volleyball Recap: Mountain Area Christian Academy Falls Short of Byne Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mountain Area Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Byne Christian Saints by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2016.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Mountain Area Christian Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-6.

This is the second loss in a row for Mountain Area Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Byne Christian, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

As of now, neither Mountain Area Christian Academy nor the Saints have any future games scheduled.
