Volleyball Recap: Central Private's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Central Private had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the False River Gators on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Redhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Central Private was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-12, 25-8.

The victory got Central Private back to even at 7-7. As for False River, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Private will square off against rival Slaughter Community Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, False River is set to challenge their familiar foe Southern Lab at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
