Basketball Recap: Two Rivers Comes Up Short

Two Rivers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Thomas Academy Cadets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 51-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Two Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for St. Thomas Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Two Rivers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-54 loss against Mahtomedi on the 16th. As for St. Thomas Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-66 victory against Hill-Murray on the 16th.
