Almont had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Clintondale Dragons 42-12 on Friday. The Raiders' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Almont's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Corneau, who picked up 50 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 44 yards. Shepherd Moussiaux was in the mix as well, providing the Raiders with two touchdowns.

Despite the loss, Clintondale saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cinsere Heard rushed for 70 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Almont's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Clintondale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Coming up, Almont will take on Marine City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clintondale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
