Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kylea Nolde and Leah Choi Lead Faith Training Christian Academy to Victory

There's no place like home for Faith Training Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 31-26 victory over Mount Olive Christian on Friday. For Faith Training Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 42-38 win Mount Olive Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Leading Faith Training Christian Academy to victory were Leah Choi and Kylea Nolde. Choi posted 11 points and six rebounds, while Nolde went 5 of 12 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Choi, who put up four points along with six boards and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Mount Olive Christian lost, don't look at Abby Rodgers. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Rodgers' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Riley Morrow was another key player, putting up four points and nine boards.

Faith Training Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Mount Olive Christian, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-10.
