Akron had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Peetz Bulldogs 3-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-7.

Payton Marshall was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and three aces.

Marshall wasn't the only good servers: Akron was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.
