Baseball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Comes Up Short

Bellwood-Antis was the 6-4 winner over Bedford when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell 7-4 to the Bisons on Friday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cam Swogger was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bellwood-Antis' record is now 7-11. As for Bedford, their record now sits at 11-7.

Coming up, Bellwood-Antis will face off against Juniata Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bedford, they will challenge Central Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
