Softball Recap: Solon Comets vs. Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees
Solon had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 4-10 to make it 11. They lost 11-1 to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 on April 4th.
Solon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Gerhard, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.
