Football Recap: Ola Mustangs vs. Stockbridge Tigers
If Ola was feeling good fresh off their 48-7 takedown of Eagle's Landing back in September, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ola Mustangs fell to the Stockbridge Tigers 14-10. It was the first time this season that the Mustangs let down their fans at home.
Despite the defeat, Ola saw an underclassman step up: Nigel Newkirk rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Newkirk's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Minor's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ola will head out to square off against Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ola's defense has only allowed 7.3 points per game this season, so Woodland's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Stockbridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Union Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Stockbridge is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
