Flag Football Recap: Newton Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

While Newton put up some points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Druid Hills. The Rams came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 7-0.

Newton pushed their record up to 9-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Druid Hills, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Coming up, Newton will head out to square off against Peachtree Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Rams 9.2, the Lions 8.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Druid Hills, they will be playing at home against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
