Basketball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Piles Up the Points Against Richards

On Thursday, the Lincoln-Way West Warriors blew past the Richards Bulldogs, posting a 72-35 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 555th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Lincoln-Way West and bumps their season record up to 14-16. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.5 points. As for Richards, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln-Way West nor Richards have any future games scheduled.
