Volleyball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury lost against Calvert back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lakers lost 3-0 to the Senecas. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-10.

Danbury now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Calvert, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Danbury is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Mary Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Calvert will take on rival Old Fort at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
