Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Plantation). They blew past the Plantation Colonels 8-0 on Monday. Given the Paladins' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Colonels are ranked 548th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got South Plantation back to even at 5-5-1. As for Plantation, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Nova the next time they take the pitch. South Plantation will head out to face Nova at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Plantation will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
