            Softball Recap: Calera Eagles vs. Prattville Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Calera's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They blew past the Prattville Lions 16-6. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Isabelle Overton was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.  Kinley Rodgers was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

 Calera  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in April of 2024.
Calera's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Prattville, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calera will host Helena  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Helena's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Calera's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Prattville,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Lions  take on  the Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on March 4th.
