West and Torrance are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Tartars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. West will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, West earned a 4-1 victory over South. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly three runs.

Meanwhile, Torrance entered their matchup against El Segundo on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tartars took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 24, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Torrance's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for West, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

West skirted past Torrance 5-4 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
