Recap: Warren County Wildcats vs. Manassas Park Cougars

The Warren County Wildcats have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Manassas Park by a score of 53-40 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Warren County also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Warren County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Bergmann out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Bryce Bergmann was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

Warren County's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Manassas Park, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren County will take on Fauquier at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Manassas Park won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Brentsville District at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Brentsville District is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
