Basketball Recap: Woodsboro Comes Up Short

Woodsboro was the 78-21 winner over Pettus when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodsboro Eagles took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pettus Eagles on Tuesday.

Woodsboro dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pettus, they moved to 3-14 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Woodsboro will be playing in front of their home fans against Refugio at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pettus, they will head out on the road to face off against Three Rivers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
