Basketball Game Preview: Greater Cabarrus S Stallions vs. South Charlotte Thunder

The Greater Cabarrus S Stallions will take on the South Charlotte Thunder at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Greater Cabarrus S earned an 84-77 victory over Christ the King. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

South Charlotte has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Greater Cabarrus S, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.

Everything came up roses for Greater Cabarrus S against South Charlotte when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 79-49 victory. In that match, Greater Cabarrus S amassed a halftime lead of 40-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
