Softball Recap: West Bend East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Homestead on Tuesday, West Bend East came back down to earth. The Suns fell 7-3 to the Slinger Owls on Thursday. The Suns were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

West Bend East has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Slinger, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

West Bend East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-3 victory against Horicon on the 10th. As for Slinger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against De Pere on the 10th.
