Jersey Shore gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 27-7 margin over the Dallas Mountaineers. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.

A big part of Jersey Shore's win came down to the chemistry between Nolen Pauling and his top target Carson Watkins. Pauling rushed for 59 yards and two scores while Watkins picked up 126 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Pauling has posted since back in September of 2024.
Jersey Shore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bo Sechrist and Luke Thompson.
Coming up, Jersey Shore is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Delaware Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dallas, they will host Wyoming Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
