The Adrian Blackhawks will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on the Warsaw Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Adrian is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Sherwood. Adrian simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Sherwood 43-8 on the road. Given the Blackhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Marksmen are ranked 264th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Warsaw got themselves on the board against Lawson on Friday, but Lawson never followed suit. They breezed by the Cardinals on the road to the tune of 33-0.

Adrian suffered a grim 37-13 defeat to Warsaw when the teams last played back in September of 2021. Thankfully for Adrian, Brady Slavens (who rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes) won't be suiting up this time.
