Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Trinity was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to the Big Sandy Wildcats.

Trinity saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Trinity now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Big Sandy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Trinity and Big Sandy will both be playing East Chambers the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:15 p.m.
