Basketball Recap: Mojave's Run of Seven Straight Wins Now Over

Mojave and Bishop Gorman squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mojave had to settle for second. They fell 71-59 to the Bishop Gorman Gaels. The Rattlers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Mojave lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was C.J. Shaw, who went 8-for-17 en route to 19 points and six boards. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Zacarrion Jackson, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Bishop Gorman, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-5.

As of now, neither Mojave nor Bishop Gorman have any future games scheduled.
