Volleyball Recap: ALA - Queen Creek Extends Winning Streak to Three

ALA - Queen Creek entered their tilt with Verrado on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Vipers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Sara Bowcutt paced ALA - Queen Creek's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bowcutt got some help from Mckenna Kehoe and her 17 assists. Payton Sabey controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Verrado lost, don't look at Baylee Wakeham. Despite the final result, she had 12 assists and nine digs.

ALA - Queen Creek's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Verrado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

ALA - Queen Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Chaparral on the 19th. As for Verrado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Monument Valley on the 19th.
