 Westside is 5-0 against Berea since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Westside Rams will head out on the road to  face off against  the Berea Bulldogs at 6:30  p.m. Westside is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
 On Monday, Westside earned  a  6-3 victory over Greenwood. Six seems to be a good number for Westside as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Tyler Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Will Thomas, who  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Phoenix Herndon, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss. They suffered a  tough 20-2 defeat at the hands of Pickens.
  Angelo Swim was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  doubles and  an  RBI.
 Westside's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Berea, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
 Everything went Westside's way against Berea in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 as Westside made off with  a  19-0 win. Will Westside repeat their success,  or does  Berea have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
