Football Game Preview: Reynolds vs. West Middlesex

Reynolds will look to defend their home turf on Friday against West Middlesex at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

Last Friday, Reynolds came up short against Maplewood, falling 18-27. Reynolds got a solid performance out of senior Tyrese Baker, who rushed for 124 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.

Meanwhile, West Middlesex put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Cochranton and carried off a 33-0 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point West Middlesex had established a 27-0 advantage.

West Middlesex's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Reynolds's loss dropped them down to 3-2. Reynolds's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a West Middlesex defensive front that amassed seven sacks against Cochranton, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
