Two relatives of famous quarterbacks made college commitments Friday.

Chad Kelly committed Friday to Clemson University, according to the Buffalo News.
The nephew of Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, the 6-foot-3 standout signal caller stars for
St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, N.Y.). As a junior he became the first player in New York history to throw for more than 2,000 yards and run for more than 1,000 yards.
Kelly also was recruited by the likes of Syracuse, Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State and Purdue.
Anthony Rice, son of former University of Notre Dame quarterback Tony Rice, made a commitment to Central Michigan University on Friday, according to the South Bend Tribune.
The 6-foot, 168-pound rising senior is a standout wide receiver and defensive back at
Marian (Mishawaka, Ind.). Rice, who runs 40 yards in 4.57 seconds, caught 28 passes as a junior for 474 yards despite playing in a run-oriented offense.
He scored three touchdowns against Central (Elkhart, Ind.) and had touchdowns of 71 and 63 yards against Clay (South Bend, Ind.).
His father led the Fighting Irish to a 12-0 record and the national championship in 1988.
Anthony told the Tribune, "I've battled the 'He gets what he gets because of who his dad is' all my life. I want out of that shadow. I want people to know I get what I get because I worked hard for it."
