Garrard County came into Tuesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Lincoln County Patriots on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Zacharee Stacy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Garrard County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Korbin Folger, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Garrard County's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lincoln County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Garrard County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
