Soccer Recap: Spoto Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Spoto can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hillsborough Terriers by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Terriers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Spoto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Hillsborough, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4-2.

Spoto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillsborough, they will challenge Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Jesuit will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hillsborough surely won't give up without a fight.
