It was a good run, but Sulphur Bluff unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Leonard Tigers by a score of 2-1. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sulphur Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Leonard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Sulphur Bluff will be playing in front of their home fans against Wolfe City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leonard has already played their next contest (against Como-Pickton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
