Soccer Game Preview: Centralia vs. Battle Ground

Centralia are taking a road trip to challenge Battle Ground at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Centralia managed to slip by WF West the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Bearcats last Tuesday, falling 4-1. Centralia just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Battle Ground lost 4-1 to Heritage on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Battle Ground can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Heritage are ranked 47th).

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Battle Ground, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
