Baseball Recap: Fontainebleau Takes a Loss

Fontainebleau's last matchup with Slidell could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. Fontainebleau came up short against Slidell, falling 10-2. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Fontainebleau's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Slidell, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fontainebleau will head out to face off against Salmen at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salmen has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.18 runs per game on average), something Fontainebleau will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Slidell, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
