After losing to Crofton the last time they met, Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-22, 27-25.

Caydence Schumacher paced Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s offense, picking up 11 kills. Schumacher got some help from Kanyon Allemang and her 18 assists. Allemang was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Crofton, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] will venture away from home to face off against Stanton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crofton, they will head out to take on Wisner-Pilger at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
