Softball Recap: Polk County Takes a Loss

Polk County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meigs County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on April 3rd.

Polk County's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Meigs County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Polk County will host Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meigs County, they will challenge Midway at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
