Basketball Game Preview: Cheyenne/Reydon Bears vs. Hammon Warriors

Cheyenne/Reydon hasn't had much luck against Hammon recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Cheyenne/Reydon will be strutting in after a victory while Hammon will be coming in after a loss.

Hammon will be up against a hot Cheyenne/Reydon squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Bears blew past Arnett, posting a 78-37 win. The Bears not only won last Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 12, 2024 (when they won 51-7).

Kimbo Denney was nothing short of spectacular: she shot 62% from the field on her way to 20 points and six steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Bogges, who scored six points along with seven steals and five assists.

Cheyenne/Reydon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Hammon came up short against Leedey last Friday and fell 57-44. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cheyenne/Reydon's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hammon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
