Soccer Recap: Cedar Falls Gets the Win

While Cedar Falls's win against Prairie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Hawks a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedar Falls also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Cedar Falls' victory bumped their record up to 8-6-2. As for Prairie, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Falls will host Iowa City at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dunkerton at 7:00 p.m. on the 13th.
