Basketball Recap: Hansberry Victorious

Hansberry won the last time they faced DRW College Prep and Lillian Rushing did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bengals claimed a resounding 49-18 victory over the Cheetahs for which the team can thank Rushing, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Aniyah Young was another key player, putting up a point along with six boards and six steals. Hansberry is undefeated when Young posts five or more steals, but 4-5 otherwise.

Hansberry's record is now 7-5. As for DRW College Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

As of now, neither Hansberry nor the Cheetahs have any future games scheduled.
