Baseball Recap: Marietta Takes a Loss

Marietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lindsay Leopards, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Lindsay, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

While Marietta had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
