Baseball Recap: Merrimack Takes a Loss

Merrimack's last matchup with Pinkerton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Tomahawks came up short against the Astros, falling 11-1. The Tomahawks have struggled against the Astros recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Merrimack's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Pinkerton, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Merrimack is set to take on their familiar foe Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pinkerton will challenge rival Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
