Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Panthers vs. Pelion Panthers
The Batesburg-Leesville Panthers won the last time they faced the Pelion Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Batesburg-Leesville came out on top against Pelion by a score of 52-42.
Batesburg-Leesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Naesean Stewart led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jr Stewart, who scored ten points.
Batesburg-Leesville's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Pelion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Silver Bluff the next time they take the court. Batesburg-Leesville will head out to face Silver Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Pelion will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
