League recap: Naches Valley stuns Granger in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Naches Valley, who took down 218th ranked Granger, 28-12.

Cle Elum-Roslyn was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Goldendale 45-14. The Warriors came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.

Cle Elum-Roslyn's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Kretschman threw for 90 yards and Jake Gall had 80 yards receiving. On the ground Mitchell Millsap chipped in 152 yards. Brennan Burchak helped Cle Elum-Roslyn's passing attack out by catching one ball for 10 yards.

Cle Elum-Roslyn's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kretschman has thrown for 320 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Gall has nine catches for 196 yards. Gall leads the league in rushing with 403 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Zillah takes on the Spartans. The Leopards are in second place, while Granger is in fourth place.

Tony Kretschman's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Timberwolves, 45-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Warriors.
