Volleyball Game Preview: Sunset Knights vs. Braddock Bulldogs

The Sunset Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Braddock Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunset is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Sunset came up short against Coral Gables on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 27-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Braddock came up short against Ferguson on Monday and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ferguson scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 23-25, 25-18.

Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Braddock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Sunset was able to grind out a solid victory over Braddock in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
