Softball Recap: Rosholt Takes a Loss

Rosholt managed to slip by Wild Rose the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets lost 17-6 to the Wildcats on Monday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Gracie Flees made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Filtz, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Rosholt's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wild Rose, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Rosholt will take on Elcho at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wild Rose, they will square off against Tri-County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
