Baseball Recap: North Greene Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for North Greene's offense. They fell just short of the Coalfield Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-0 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Huskies have suffered since April 12th.

North Greene dropped their record down to 16-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Coalfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

North Greene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coalfield, they will square off against Bradford on Tuesday.
