Soccer Recap: Aurora Comes Up Short

Aurora lost against Monett back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Houn Dawgs came up short against the Cubs, falling 9-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Aurora were already down 9-1.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Monett, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Aurora will welcome McDonald County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monett, they will head out on the road to face off against Cassville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
