Columbine entered their tilt with East Central on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of  2-0. While the Rebels didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Columbine found their leader in freshman  Kaylee Yoder, who  had seven  digs and two  aces.
Columbine's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for East Central,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbine will head out to  square off against ThunderRidge  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for East Central, they will venture away from home to  face off against Stone  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The  game will  give the Hornets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
